During most of my life, I have tried to label the common condition, which repeatedly appears in one of my family lines. Today, I think I actually have realized and named the thing: autism.
The depression I have assumed to be a common condition is, in fact, a common symptom.
Autism is a funny old reality, which requires considerable intelligence to utilize.
Many autists (a non-preferred term that can be considered offensive by some) seem to function somewhat normally when habitually involved with society.
But we are never actually socialized (trained).
Anyway….
All of my “afflicted” (not really) family members are highly intelligent and, once removed from society, want little further interaction with societal construct.
…well…. I just realized you have no interest in this, so that’s all I’ll say.
Please, be kind to us.
The input is more than we can easily bear.
